Colorado US 160 Chimney Rock Research Project
Dr. Cramer and Mr. Hamlin of the Wildlife Connectivity Institute are researching the effectiveness of wildlife mitigation measures, including an overpass for Colorado DOT, in conjunction with the Southern Ute Indian Tribe.
Colorado State Highway 13 Wildlife Mitigation Research
Our team is researching the wildlife underpass, wildlife-detection driver warning system, and other mitigation components to the SH 13 Fortification Creek Improvement Project. Cameras were placed in May of 2023 and will remain through 2025.
